Resource Improvement!

In composing my blogs, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center site is one of my primary resources to provide good reference information about the species I list. And it just got even better!  I'm not sure when they snuck this partnership in there, but wildflower.org is now listing butterfly host information at the bottom of species pages that apply (such as this page on swamp milkweed) through links to the Butterflies and Moths of North America website.

This is HUGE! If you are like me, you've had to use a minimum of two resources and then cross-reference to see what species will be the best solutions to your yardscaping for habitat. This simplifies the process, and provides much more information on host plants & species impacted that I've been able to find elsewhere. Try out both sites for some great info and photos.

Happy Habitat Building!
